Shipping Policy for Live Plants at Terrarium Kit

At Terrarium Kit, we are committed to delivering healthy and vibrant live plants to your doorstep with the utmost care. Please review our shipping policy to understand how we manage deliveries to ensure the well-being of your plants.

1. Delivery Timeframe:

  • We provide free shipping in Canada. 
  • In most areas, you can expect your live plant order to be processed and shipped within 3 - 5 business days from the date of purchase.
  • For remote areas, an extended delivery time may be required. Should there be any concerns with extended delivery times, we will notify the customer as soon as we can to discuss the next steps. 

2. Carrier and Delivery Days:

  • All deliveries are made using Canada Post, a reliable carrier with a strong track record for handling live plants.
  • Deliveries are scheduled to take place on business days only, excluding weekends and statutory holidays.

3. Delivery Scheduling:

  • To minimize the time your plants spend in transit, all packages are dropped off for delivery at the start of the week.
  • Depending on the expected delivery time provided by Canada Post, packages may or may not be dropped off for delivery at the end of the week. This approach aims to decrease the total time the plants are in transit, ensuring they arrive at your location as swiftly and healthily as possible.

4. Tracking Information:

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. This allows you to monitor the progress of your live plants as they make their way to your doorstep.

5. Communication Concerns:

  • We value transparency in our services. Should any unexpected issues or concerns arise during the delivery process, our team will promptly communicate with you via email. We want to keep you in the loop and address any unforeseen circumstances to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

6. Shipping to Remote Areas:

  • For deliveries to remote areas, we will notify you if there are any concerns with delivery time. Our priority is to ensure your live plants arrive in excellent condition, and we take extra care in coordinating deliveries to these locations.

7. Weather Considerations:

  • During extreme weather conditions, such as excessive heat or cold, we may delay the shipment of live plants to prevent any adverse effects on their health. In such cases, we will notify you promptly.
